We offer a range of benefits for Friends, including free entry to our October to May lecture series and access to the Garden’s annual seed list (10 free packets of seed), as well as our quarterly newsletter.
Now that the pandemic has receded we hope to be able to once again offer trips and events. This began in a small way in the summer of 2023.
Lectures are held in the University Zoology Building. All talks take place in hybrid form. To comply with University of Aberdeen policy, the simultaneous broadcast is on Teams. With the speaker’s agreement, recordings are accessible after the event via the Members’ area of the site. Past topics have included invasive pathogens, the science of colour, and Scottish female gardeners. A list of past speakers is available in the Members’ area.
