We offer a range of benefits for Friends, including free entry to our October to May lecture series, our quarterly newsletter, and updates on events happening at the Garden and throughout the local community.
We offer a small number of summer events and are always grateful for volunteers to help organise more!
Lectures are held in the University Zoology Building. All talks take place in hybrid form. To comply with University of Aberdeen policy, the simultaneous broadcast is on Teams. With the speaker’s agreement, recordings are accessible after the event via the Members’ area of the site. Past topics have included invasive pathogens, the science of colour, and Scottish female gardeners. A list of past speakers is available in the Members’ area.
