Speaker Jimmy McRae - “The Tea and Spice Gardens of South India”

There will be a link to a simultaneous broadcast on Teams available from friendsofcbgwebmaster@gmail.com

Jimmy McRae was a nurseryman with several local garden centres, latterly at Mains of Drum. He has recently retired.

Jimmy has been visiting Kerala, South India, in the winter months for several years, and has enjoyed spending time in the Western Ghats, looking at tea estates and where our exotic spices such as Cardamom and Nutmeg are grown. He will speak about his extensive travels in these areas and the spices grown there.
